Dr. Priya Solomon

Bio

After completing her basic education, Dr. Priya could successfully qualify in UGC (NET) and subsequently completed her Post Graduation in Economics (Allahabad University) and Finance (ICFAI University). Besides, she is a qualified Chartered Financial Analyst from ICFAI University and a Doctorate in Commerce from Allahabad University.

Dr. Priya started her career as a faculty member at Somerville School in New Delhi. Lighting many lamps through her fountain of love and guidance, Dr. Priya projected to her students that education is an endless journey through knowledge and enlightenment. Subsequently, at the Somerville School she donned the mantle of HOD (Commerce). Thereafter, she became the Associate Professor at Amity University with the additional responsibilities of Examination Centre Superintendent.

Equally heartening to mention that Dr. Priya has authored and published several book chapters and case studies. Her research works have been published in Scopus, ABDC and Thomson Reuters indexed journals. Furthermore, she has made several research presentations at the national and international forums earning accolades and honours from across different cross sections of academic fraternity. Besides, Dr. Priya has curved out and executed several Management and Executive Development programs and is actively involved as a member of several professional bodies.

Dr. Priya Solomon believes that the purpose of management education is to create nation building capacities in the future ready leaders.
