Eligibility Criteria

Universal Ai University and Soundideaz Academy Mumbai, invites applications from all streams and boards (Indian & International). The candidate must either have completed Class XII, or be completing it in the same year in which she/he seeks to begin undergraduate study. Candidates from any stream, or studying any combination of subjects, can apply to any of the undergraduate programs offered.

Appear in India’s 1^st AI-based Entrance Exam – Eventuality.

Duration: 1 hour 45 minutes 100 questions (No Negative Marking)

A sample paper of the entrance test (Eventuality) will be available to prepare once a candidate applies. Exemption from test is there, if the candidate has already taken SAT / ACT / PEARSON / UGAT / CUET/ JEE / MHTCET / WBJEE / National Level Exam.

Alternatively, a candidate can have a Artist Portfolio which has to be creative, and that can also be considered as an exemption from the entrance test.

STEP 4: Personal Interview (PI)

A candidate is tested for attitude, motivation, communication & academic curiosity. The candidate’s record, academic as well as co-curricular & extra-curricular, forms the main basis of the PI discussion. If a candidate has submitted a Music Portfolio, then that will discussed as well. All PI’s will happen online via an AI-Bot at Eventuality, India’s 1^st AI-based Admissions Process by Universal Ai University.

Once all four steps are completed, a candidate’s application will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee in full. The final admission decision will take into consideration the overall candidature.

Candidates who perform well in the admission process may be made a provisional offer of admission, even if their Class XII Board scores have not been declared until then.

Refund Policy for the Undergraduate programs at Universal Ai University:

If any candidate decides to withdraw from the course in which he/she took admission, then the institute shall follow the below-mentioned system of the UGC norms for fee refund. Last date of admission 15th September 2024.

The student will receive a ‘No Objection Certificate’ which he/she has to submit, along with the necessary information.
No verbal/telephonic request for withdrawal and refund will be entertained.
Fees shall be refunded to the eligible candidate by the institute within 15 days after the candidate has submitted the official written letter to the authority.

Universal AI University Scholarships and Requirements

Universal AI University offers various scholarships to encourage and support talented students pursuing their education in Sound Engineering. Below are the details of the scholarships available, their requirements, and terms & conditions:

Economic (Early Bird) Scholarship

Amount: INR 50,000/-
Eligibility: Students who take admission during the Early Admission Round.
Application Deadline: Valid up to 30 April 2024.

Merit Based Scholarship

Amount: UP to 50% Scholarship on 1st Year Tuition Fees (10 Seats)
Requirements:
- Minimum 75% overall in 12th Standard.
- Minimum 75% in academics and 85% attendance in the 1st year.
Continuation: Students must apply for continuation in the 2nd Year. Approval will be based on previous year’s performance, including exam grades, attendance, behaviour, and creative aptitude. (Board’s Decision is final and binding).

Scholarship on Creative Aptitude

Amount: Up to 50% Scholarship on 1st Year Tuition Fees (10 Seats)
Requirements:
- Audio/Music experience in Recording, Mixing, Performance, Composing, or Production.
- Submission of Audio/Video file or links of the work done with evidence that it is student’s work.
- 250 words Letter of Intent including:
  1. Description of roles performed in the submitted work, experience, and challenges faced.
  2. Reasons why Universal AI University should consider the student for this scholarship, how the student will benefit, and the student’s goals.
Continuation: Students must apply for continuation in the 2nd Year. Approval will be based on previous year’s performance, including exam grades, attendance, behaviour, and creative aptitude. (Board’s Decision is final and binding).

Terms & Conditions for Scholarships:

Maximum up to 50% Scholarship available depending on the quality of work done in the music/sound field. Creativeness of the student in the said work will be assessed by the Board. (Board’s Decision is final and binding).

Application Process: Students interested in availing these scholarships should ensure they meet the eligibility criteria and submit the required documents as per the scholarship they are applying for. It is essential to adhere to the deadlines and follow the guidelines provided to increase the chances of securing the scholarship.

Note:

1) Only one category of special scholarship is applicable per student.

2) Merit Scholarship can not be clubbed with special scholarship.

3) Maximum Scholarship of INR 50,000 can be availed per student.

4) Students are eligible for a scholarship if their scholarship application is received prior to July.

5) The Scholarship application form is available on Universal AI University website.

6) All scholarships are at the sole discretion of Universal AI University.

7) Eligible students’ will receive a Scholarship Award Letter from the Admissions Team.

8) Scholarship will continue in the next year based on the performance of the previous year. A student should secure a minimum of 60% in the first-year grades and a minimum of 80% attendance.
