Bio

Dr. R. Kamatchi is Dean, Academics & Doctoral Studies with Universal AI University. She is currently handling the following responsibilities.

  • Planning the delivery of the overall program and its activities
  • Coordinating program time tables and monitoring class schedules
  • Monitoring syllabus, lesson plans and learning outcomes for the program
  • Ensuring timely receipt of program related documentation and reports
  • Preparing Doctoral studies policies, recruiting research scholars and supporting and monitoring their research progress.
  • Supporting in all admission related processes established by the institute (e.g. Interviews and Orientations)

She has completed her Ph.D., thesis titled “Security issues of Web services in a Service Oriented Architecture” with Mother Teresa Women’s University, Kodaikanal under the guidance of Dr. Atanu Rakshit, Former Director, IIM, Rohtak. She has 23 years of teaching & administrative experience with various premier institutes in Mumbai. She has co-authored 7 books and presented more than 50 papers in National and International conferences. She has got 80 Journal publications to her credit. She has conducted various sessions on the topics of Service modelling, Customer Relationship Management, Internet Security, Current IT trends in various students and faculty forums. She is the Board of Studies member in many reputed universities like University of Mumbai, Amity University, Barathiryar University, HSNC University, Somaiya University etc. She is in the Ph.D., examiner panel of many reputed universities like Jain University, North Maharashtra University, Bharathiyar University, Manaonmaniam Sundaranar University, Vishwesaraya Technical University(VIT) etc. She is an IRCA certified Lead auditor.

She has authored many course material in the subjects of Customer Relationship Management, Information Security, Cyber Forensics, Project Management for various universities. She has guided more than 50 PG projects and 7 students completed their M.Phil., dissertation under her guidance. She has successfully guided many doctoral research candidates in the area of Deep learning, Wireless Sensor Networks, Social Media analytics, Cloud security. She is in the editorial board of various peer reviewed journals and books. She is also an invited reviewer for many journals like INDERSCIENCE, EMERALAD, Science Direct etc. She is also an invited member of various Science & Technology forums like CSI, ISTE, IEANG. She has chaired and many sessions in reputed International Conferences and delivered key note address in diversified domains. She is the permanent guest speaker in various refresher courses organized by UGC Academic Staff college in the subject of Data Science
