DR. ABHISHEK SAHU

Bio

Dr. Abhishek Sahu is an Assistant professor at Universal AI University, Karjat, Maharashtra. He has completed his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Operations and Supply Chain Management from Delhi Technological University (formerly Delhi College of Engineering), his thesis was on “Study of Select Issues of Industry 4.0 and Circular Economy”. Prior to his PhD, Dr. Abhishek completed his M.Tech in Advanced Production Systems from the National Institute of Technical Teachers’ Training and Research in Bhopal. He also holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from RGPV University.

Before joining Universal AI University, Dr. Abhishek worked as an Assistant Professor (Contractual) in the University School of Management and Entrepreneurship at Delhi Technological University in Delhi. He also served as a Junior Research Fellow at National Institute of Technical Teachers’ Training and Research in Bhopal, where he successfully completed the DST Funded Project “Multi-Functional Railway Track Scavenging Vehicle.” Additionally, he has one year of industrial experience as a Production Engineer.

Throughout his academic and research career, Dr. Abhishek has received various international and national awards, including Research Excellence Award, Best Paper Awards, and MP Young Scientists Fellowship, recognizing his contributions to the field of research. His research work has been published in reputable international journals such as The Journal of Enterprise Information Management, Sustainable Energy Technologies and Assessments, Environmental Science and Pollution Research, Energy Sources, Part A: Recovery, Utilization, and Environmental Effects, Sustainable Computing: Informatics and Systems, and The TQM Journal.

Area of Interest: Industry 4.0, Circular Economy, Supply Chain Management, Legal Informatics System, and Assembly Line Balancing.
