Dr. Meena Sharma

Bio

Dr. Meena Sharma is a commerce postgraduate. She holds a Master’s in Business Studies with M.Phil. and a Ph.D. in Human Resources Management. She has more than 18 years of experience.  Currently, she holds the position of Professor and Head of the Department – HR at Universal AI University. She has also worked as a professor and head of the department at the Institute of Advanced Research, The University for Innovation, Gujarat; an associate professor at the Dnyansagar Institute of Management and Research, Pune; an associate professor and head of the department at the D.Y. Patil Institute of Management, Pune; and an assistant professor at the Novel Institute of Management Studies, Pune.

Dr. Meena is an advisory member of the Harvard Business Review Council. She has been awarded the ‘Academic Excellence Award’ in 2023 at the Singapore ‘Best Professor Award’ in 2020, the ‘Best Woman Academician Award’ in 2021, and included in the ‘Top 100 Professors in India’ 2022; she has also been invited as a ‘Key-Note Speaker’, ‘Panelist’, and ‘Subject Expert’ at National and International conferences. 

She has written and published more than 35 research papers in UGC-CAR, Scopus, and ABDC journals, authored five books, and published five patents. She is also a member of the syllabus review committee at SPPU and is actively involved in various academic activities.
