Dr. Srinivas Shirur

Bio

Dr. Srinivas Shirur has 25 years of academic and five years of industry experience. He is professor and HOD of Finance  at Universal AI University, Karjat. He was Director of the Incubation & Entrepreneurship centre at Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad for four years. Prior to that, he was Dean of School of Business Studies at Sharda University  for three years and prior to that , he was Director and a Senior Professor of Finance and Economics at Galgotias Institute of Management Technology, Greater Noida for eight years.

A Graduate in Economics(Hons) from Delhi University, he is also  M.A in Economics from Osmania University,  MBA in Finance from Punjab University and MA in Psychology from IGNOU. He has earned his Ph.D. in Finance from the  Department of Business Studies, Jamia Millia Islamia (Central University), New Delhi. He was awarded JRF by the UGC to pursue his doctorate. He has written six  books on topics  relating to Finance and Economics. Around 50 of his articles have been published in reputed journals. He has been involved with various consultancy projects.
