The weekly IER session was conducted under the guidance of Prof. M. Guruprasad with a presentation by Lucky Kumar of IM5CM and Shubham Singh Kiraar of BM6CM on the Israel-Palestine Conflict. The presentation discussed the historical significance of Jerusalem, the current geopolitical situation, and the chronological circumstances that led to this communal unrest. Given the facts, they provided a review of recent situation in the two countries, the steps taken by the government to address it, and closed by noting India’s stance on the subject.
